A new Women’s Circle  a time for authentic connection, Tea ritual and magic.

These days it’s not easy to make time to meditate, yet sitting to have a cuppa is something we can manage to do.  When something is not going as planned, or when we are very tired after a long day at work, sitting for meditation can be so difficult, our mind is often overwhelmed by numerous thoughts and unable to be still and to let go for relaxation.

Having a cup of tea helps to centre and calm our nervous system, and it is a lovely, simple way to bring meditation into our daily lives. The spiritual masters Osho, Thich Nhat Hahn and Buddha, spoke of the benefits of drinking tea slowly and with awareness, saying that it can lead us to enlightenment, or at the very least, to seeing who we really are and experiencing harmony in our life.

We will start to gather from 11am so you can take your time to settle into your chosen spot, (cushions, blankets and yoga mats are supplied). You will be taken on an inward journey to a deeply relaxed place through the systematic process of Yoga Nidra that is designed to lead the body and mind into receptive states of relaxation and deep presence.

Only 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours sleep and the benefits are tremendous. Yoga Nidra lowers cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart rate and levels of adrenaline and cortisol it treats stress, insomnia, depression and PTSD.

There will be a healing sound-bath towards the end, followed by a serving of nutritional healthy snacks and some social time too.
